From 24 to 26 September 2024, Robatech will be presenting its adhesive application system for maximum precision and reliability at FACHPACK in Nuremberg. The new, small melter for simple applications with low adhesive consumption also promises good application quality. The Swiss manufacturer will also be demonstrating live on the stand how easy it is to fold precisely.
The Vision melter in combination with the Performa heated hose and the Volta electric application head is Robatech’s flagship product and stands for maximum process reliability and precision when gluing primary and secondary packaging. The energy-efficient melter reliably keeps the adhesive viscosity constant and ensures a stable adhesive pressure. The fully insulated Performa heated hose conveys the adhesive to the application head with as little heat loss as possible. And finally, the Volta electric spray head applies the adhesive with pinpoint accuracy – thanks to the high switching frequencies, it is also suitable for hotmelt stitching.
Clever and compact
For simple applications with an adhesive requirement of up to 2.5kg/h, the compact Easy melter, which forms the EasyLine together with the Rio heated hose and the Twist application head, is sufficient. The functionalities of this new melter are limited to the minimum required, but no expense has been spared on clever details for easy installation and quick maintenance. According to the manufacturer, despite its simplicity and attractive price/performance ratio, the Easy melter delivers adhesive application quality in the usual Robatech quality.
Folding should be as precise as gluing. The patented PerfectFold liquid creaser, which visitors can experience live at FACHPACK, is reported to be as ingenious as it is simple. An application head applies a creasing liquid to the fold lines of a corrugated cardboard box – similar to an adhesive application – so that the blanks can be folded precisely and with little effort. Fold breaks, irregular gaps and fishtailing are now a thing of the past. Corrugated boxes creased with PerfectFold provide exact internal dimensions so that inserts can be fitted into folding boxes without any problems.
