At this year’s Labelexpo Europe in Barcelona, UV specialist Hoenle will showcase cutting-edge LED-UV curing systems from its proven LED Powerline series, designed not only for label printing, but also for the increasingly important flexible packaging market. Among the highlights is the innovative Curing System LED Powerline Web.
Product launch in Barcelona
With the launch of LED Powerline Web at Labelexpo, Hoenle presents a new LED curing system that stands out for its flexibility, efficiency, and compact design. Developed to meet the demands of modern production lines, LED Powerline Web offers a wide range of technological highlights for the precise curing of UV materials.
The system is available in two wavelengths and thus offers maximum application versatility: in a UVA version for curing printing inks, as well as in a UVC version, ideally suited for crosslinking UV coatings, silicones, and adhesives. This enables the system to cover a broad range of industrial applications. The UVC module can be flexibly positioned in any location – offering maximum adaptability in a variety of production environments. A key advantage is its efficient water cooling, which ensures consistently high and uniform output, even during continuous operation under demanding production conditions.
The hybrid concept makes switching from conventional UV to LED technology in existing processes very simple: LED Powerline Web allows the optional use of both conventional UV lamps and LED without compromising system integration. Thanks to its compact design, LED Powerline Web can be easily integrated into both new and existing machine setups, making it an ideal solution for retrofits as well as new installations.
Also on display live at the booth: the unique UV dose measurement system UV Scan MACS and the entire Hoenle UV Technology portfolio for drying and curing inks, coatings, and varnishes, such as LED-UV, IR/Hot Air, and Inert UV solutions.
New corporate design
As a special feature, Hoenle is set to unveil its new corporate design along with the launch of a corporate brand throughout the group and a new website. This change will bring their legacy of expertise under one roof and reflects the company’s global strategic evolution with the customer in focus. “We’re excited to present our new look to the public for the first time at Labelexpo Europe,” says Dr Markus Arendt, CEO of Hoenle. “It’s more than just a new design – it’s a visual expression of our future as the world’s leading specialist in industrial UV Technology.”
