The SÜDPACK Group is setting the course for the future: Carlo Remmele, a member of the third generation of the entrepreneurial family, is taking over as head of the Food Business Unit. In doing so, the company is strengthening its strategic focus on its core business whilst sending a clear signal of continuity and long-term development. The Food Business Unit is the largest business unit within the SÜDPACK Group and forms the heart of the company.
Impressive career path
Carlo Remmele knows the food and packaging industry inside out. He began his professional career with an apprenticeship as a dairy technologist at the Zott dairy. He subsequently completed a degree in Economics, which specifically prepared him for management and strategic roles. He then gained extensive professional experience within the SÜDPACK Group: after joining as a trainee, he gradually took on senior management responsibilities in various areas of the company.
As head of the Food Business Unit, Carlo Remmele takes on a key role in the senior management of the SÜDPACK Group and is now responsible for the company’s most important business division. In his new role, he will drive the further development of the division and continue to strengthen SÜDPACK’s market position in the international arena.
Expertise and strategic vision
“In Carlo Remmele, the Food Business Unit gains a leader who knows both the company and our customers’ requirements inside out,” said Thorsten Seehars, CEO of the SÜDPACK Group. “I am delighted that Carlo will be bringing his expertise and strategic vision to bear in this important role in future.”
