The 7th edition of ICEC USA, which took place in Orlando, Florida, 9-11 January, at The Orange County Convention Center, concluded last week. The three-day event brought together converting industry professionals from around the world.
ICEC USA featured more than 100 exhibiting companies showcasing the latest machinery, systems, materials, and accessories. Exhibitors presented live demonstrations on the show floor, allowing attendees to be hands-on with cutting-edge equipment and discuss technical details with the industry’s leading suppliers. ICEC USA welcomed hundreds of attendees, including representatives from Dupont, FLEXcon, Kimberly-Clark, Winpak, and Velcro USA. Attendees were comprised of key decision-makers from a wide range of industry sectors—packaging, plastics/films, printing, engineering, paper, automotive, automotive and pharma/healthcare.
Partnership with ARC
ICEC USA also partnered with the Association for Roll-to-Roll Converters (ARC) to offer professionals a variety of educational sessions throughout the event. The education programme included ARC Fundamentals, a one-day programme that covered the basics of converting, and the ARC Technical Programme, which consisted of thirty-minute sessions focused on rollers and web handling, machine learning, slot-die coating, coating window, and process simulation. Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in Ask the Experts—one of the most popular and valuable programmes of ICEC USA. Converting professionals met one-on-one with some of the industry’s most accomplished experts to receive advice and solutions for their technical and operational challenges.
Global converting industry comes together
“We’d like to thank everyone who made this year’s event possible—from our exhibitors, speakers, and partners to our attendees,” said Event Director Bob Chiricosta. “As the Americas’ leading event for paper, film, foil, and nonwovens converting, ICEC USA is one of the only events where the global converting industry can come together to explore the latest technologies, machinery, and solutions to enhance their business operations.”
The next event in the global ICE series will be ICE Europe, the world’s leading converting exhibition, taking place 11-13 March 2025 in Munich, Germany, at the Munich Trade Fair Centre.
