Progress you can touch, dialogue on equal terms and technology with soul: the KOCH Demonstration Day on 7 May 2025 was much more than a classic product presentation – it was a real experience. The event brought together customers from all over Germany who – from a variety of industries, this time surprisingly predominantly from the chemical sector – were keen to experience KOCH’s automation solutions live. And they were not disappointed.
Under the motto ‘The future is now’, KOCH presented how the concepts of automation, robotics, digitalisation and artificial intelligence can already be translated into efficient, flexible and intelligent solutions for practical use – from intelligent handling and innovative packaging technology to flexible palletising. Guests were not only able to see the technical excellence for themselves, but also experience KOCH on a personal level – honest, approachable and with a genuine passion for smart robot systems.
Direct exchange
“Our systems are one thing – but without the people behind them, they would be nothing. That’s why direct exchange is always at the heart of what we do,” explains Sales Manager Thomas Theis. “We don’t just want to sell solutions, we want to build partnerships – fair, reliable and on an equal footing.”
A special highlight of the day was the presentation of the latest KOCH innovations. Guests were able to immerse themselves in planned system concepts using VR glasses – even before a single robot arm had been assembled. In virtual reality, the future of production became tangible. KOCH also set new standards in the field of software: KOCHnectivity, a smart solution that makes production data available in real time, was presented – for full transparency, maximum efficiency and networked control of the entire production line.
Added value thanks to robot systems
In the demonstration areas, visitors were able to experience live how robot systems intelligently and reliably pack, palletise or destack a wide variety of products, from glass and rolls to bags and cardboard blanks. Current customer projects from various industries, including chemicals/pharmaceuticals, converting, printing and ceramics, were used to illustrate the use of modern technologies in a clear and practical way – a real added value for anyone looking to take their production processes to the next level.
“It was an all-round successful day. The discussions with our customers were inspiring – full of ideas, concrete projects and new perspectives,” said Managing Director Ulli Koch. “We are delighted that our enthusiasm for technology was so contagious – and we are already looking forward to the next Demonstration Day.”
The next Demonstration Day will take place in the second half of 2025 – and anyone who was unable to attend this time now has the chance to secure a place. Interested parties can register on the KOCH website now to receive a personal invitation to the next event.
