Bandera has announced the completion of an innovative and ambitious extrusion coating project.
The highly customised equipment has been designed and manufactured at the Bandera House Of Extrusion. Thanks to its advanced features, it is reported to represent a new technological milestone for satisfying current and future targets in the packaging market.
Enabling innovation and sustainability
According to the manufacturer, the extrusion island ensures superior performance, while the robust chill roll equipment allows the final user to reach extremely low grammages (gsm) on paper and other substrates. This, in turn, facilitates the introduction of new concepts in terms of innovation and sustainability.
The entire line, including unwinding and rewinding systems as well as web handling, is supplied by OLBRICH GmbH | Polytype Converting, a leading technology and turn-key provider in this field. It will be installed at a European production site of Mondi Group a global leader in the sustainable packaging and paper industry.
