From 28 to 29 January 2026, Robatech will be presenting Alpha, its expanded range of new-generation hot melt dispensers, at EMPACK in Bern. The manufacturer of adhesive application systems will also be drawing attention to its electric application heads for hot melt and cold glue application. These enable packaging to be bonded efficiently, safely and sustainably.
Worry-free and secure bonding
Depending on the tank size, the new Alpha hot melt adhesive dispenser melts up to 12.5 kg/h of thermoplastic adhesives. High system availability and energy efficiency ensure sustainable operation and low operating costs – both advantages for remaining competitive. Alpha is equipped with the Robatech Control System (RCS), offering smart operation and numerous interfaces to simplify system integration, control and monitoring of adhesive application. This makes it easier for existing customers to upgrade from earlier systems – and for new users to get started with the latest generation. In addition, Robatech heating hoses and application heads manufactured since 2000 are compatible with Alpha.
The future is electric
Another highlight at the stand is a variety of electric application heads. The Volta hot melt spray head scores with its integrated stitching function. This helps companies reduce glue consumption by up to 60%, making it an ideal solution for primary and secondary packaging. Robatech will also be presenting various electric cold glue heads, which are mainly used in the packaging industry or in combined hot melt and cold glue applications. The electric application heads are considered to be very reliable as they have a long service life thanks to fewer wear parts.
