On 1 and 2 October 2026, Messerfabrik Neuenkamp held a two-day in-house exhibition at its Hückeswagen facility.
Customers, business partners and industry experts took the opportunity to learn about current topics and developments in industrial slitting technology and exchange ideas with specialists on technical challenges and opportunities for optimisation. Whether cutting steel, stainless steel, aluminium or copper, the key questions remain similar: How can cutting quality, tool life, tool changes and tooling setups be optimised?
Six practical workshops
The event focused on six practical workshops addressing key factors influencing the precision, performance and cost efficiency of industrial slitting processes. Topics ranged from precision and tolerances to optimising tool life, measuring and straightening techniques, and total cost of ownership (TCO). The programme was complemented by workshops on intelligent tooling setups and the latest product developments. One of the highlights was an exclusive preview of the new CAMB assembly software, scheduled for launch in the first quarter of 2027.
In addition to the technical topics, personal exchange played a central role. During numerous discussions, participants explored individual requirements from industrial practice and opportunities to improve the efficiency of slitting processes through technical solutions and optimised workflows. A joint get-together on Thursday evening complemented the event programme and provided an opportunity to continue technical discussions in an informal atmosphere.
“We look back on two thoroughly successful days. The great interest, in-depth technical discussions and consistently positive feedback from our visitors have once again shown us just how valuable the personal exchange of knowledge and experience is within our industry. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all participants who contributed to the success of this event,” said Maja Supe-Dienes, Management, Messerfabrik Neuenkamp
