From 22 to 23 January 2024, Robatech will be presenting its adhesive application system for maximum precision and reliability at EMPACK in Zurich. Its new, small melter for simple applications with low adhesive consumption also promises good application quality.
Flagship product
The Vision melter, in combination with the Performa heated hose and the Volta electric application head, is Robatech’s flagship and stands for maximum process reliability and precision when glueing primary and secondary packaging. The energy-efficient melter reliably maintains a constant adhesive viscosity and ensures stable adhesive pressure. The fully insulated Performa heated hose conveys the adhesive to the application head with minimal heat loss. The electric Volta spray head applies the adhesive with pinpoint accuracy – thanks to the high switching frequencies, it is also suitable for hotmelt stitching.
Attractive price and simplicity
For simple applications with an adhesive requirement of up to 2.5kg/h, the small Easy melter is sufficient. Together with the Rio heated hose and the Twist application head, it forms the EasyLine. The functionalities of this new melter are limited to the required minimum, but there is no lack of sophisticated details for easy installation and quick maintenance. Despite its simplicity and an attractive price/performance ratio, the Easy melter delivers the adhesive application quality that customers have come to expect from Robatech.
Precision in folding
The folding should be as precise as the glueing. The patented PerfectFold liquid scoring system is as ingenious as it is simple. Similar to the application of an adhesive, an application head applies a scoring liquid to the folding lines of corrugated cardboard so that the blanks can be folded precisely and with little effort. Creases, irregular gaps and fishtailing are now a thing of the past. Corrugated cardboard creased with PerfectFold delivers precise internal dimensions, so that inserts can be easily fitted into folding boxes.
Robatech will be exhibiting at EMPACK in Zurich – Hall 3, Booth C25.
