Coveris, a leading European packaging manufacturer, has installed its first ALLrollEX 5-layer extrusion line for stretch film production at its flaghsip UK extrusion facility in Winsford, which signifies a major success story for machinery supplier COLINES. Coveris is now entering the market with their brand-new, latest-generation ALLrollEX 1500mm, delivering a high-performance solution at rapid speed.
The state-of-the-art line is equipped with MASTERMIND, the AI-based virtual production assistant developed by COLINES. What truly made the difference, however, was COLINES’ comprehensive approach: the Italian company provided a team of highly experienced professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient start-up of the line.
Satisfied customer
“We are extremely pleased with how things have gone so far – said Coveris Winsford Operations Director, Steve O’Hare – and with the relationship we’ve built with COLINES, both during the supply phase and throughout commissioning and start-up. Not only were contractual deadlines met, they were actually anticipated. Moreover, the AI-based virtual production assistant MASTERMIND really makes the difference: the line automation is outstanding, and it results in extremely fast set-up times. All this led to our complete satisfaction, also thanks to the extreme speed support of their customer care crew”.
“We are delighted to have started a partnership with such a prestigious group as Coveris,” explained Gabriele Peccetti, Marketing and Communication Director and Sales Area Manager at COLINES. “We are proud to have launched this partnership by offering a complete package, including an extrusion line, an automation package, and a palletising unit.”
Production start in record time
According to him, “Customer satisfaction has always been a top priority for COLINES, and seeing such a complex system go into production in record time is a real source of pride, an achievement made possible by the combined efforts of a dedicated team and cutting-edge technology, which stands as a true added value.”
