Alternative packaging materials and methods are the focus of the 21st Inno-Meeting, which will take place from 21 to 22 February 2024 at Vienna House in Osnabrück. Over two days, participants will learn the latest about innovative and sustainable packaging solutions. The meeting is regarded in the industry as an annual highlight for decision-makers from the food, consumer goods and packaging industries and all those who deal with the challenges of new packaging developments.
Platform for intensive exchange
Organiser and moderator Karsten Schröder (Innoform Coaching GbR) offers the Inno-Meeting a platform for intensive exchange and discussions without reservations. Topics such as design for recycling, the most sensible film materials including regenerated material, the evaluation and comparison of sustainable packaging, the alternatives to disposable flexpack, recyclability and disposal costs as well as the use of AI in packaging design and packaging optimisation will be presented and put to the test in his Q&A session.
Participants can look forward to two days full of exciting presentations, discussions and networking.
Highlights of the programme
On day 1: Presentations by experts such as Benedikt Kauertz (IFEU Institute) on the circular economy in 2045, Dirk Stolte (ppg > wegoflex GmbH) with Design for Recycling using material combinations in flexible packaging and Dr Matthias Wilhelm (Lober GmbH & Co.), who will be presenting high-quality PE and PP recyclates from the Yellow Bag.
On day 2: Presentations by Lars Sturm (STURM packaging consulting) on artificial intelligence in the packaging industry, Valeska Haux (Südpack Holding GmbH) on the first food packaging made from film with a chemical recyclate content and Dr Christian Beinert (Fraunhofer LBF) on the topic of IQpack – a recyclable reusable packaging solution.
