KOCH at ICE Europe – Redefining production processes

KOCH is pleased to be an exhibitor at ICE Europe 2025 in Munich. The world’s leading trade fair for the processing and finishing of flexible, web-shaped materials such as paper, film and foil will take place from 11 to 13 March 2025. As the central meeting place for the converting industry, ICE Europe is the ideal platform for presenting KOCH’s robot systems.

Mastering current challenges in the converting industry: KOCH Big Five modules

The converting industry is increasingly facing challenges that require maximum flexibility and innovative strength. Stricter requirements for hygienic production, flexible batch sizes and the growing demands of end customers are having a lasting impact on the market and making efficiency increases in the production process indispensable.

KOCH meets these challenges with the specially developed Big Five modules, which can be flexibly adapted to individual needs and production requirements as integrable individual systems or turnkey complete systems. These solutions cover all central areas of roll handling: from unloading and depalletising, marking and labelling to packaging, palletising and load securing. At ICE Europe, the company will be presenting a series of in-house developments as part of the KOCH Big Five modules that are specially designed to meet the requirements of the converting industry:

KOCH RobotFlexPacker: Safe packaging of your rolls

The patented RobotFlexPacker from KOCH is part of the ‘Packaging’ Big Five module and packs rolls fully automatically. The tight, closed film provides an ideal basis for subsequent processes.

KOCH EasyReelLoader: Space-saving and safe palletising of your rolls

The EasyReelLoader system from KOCH is part of the ‘Palletising’ module. With their layer pattern software, which is intuitive to use, customers can customise their palletising plans on the PC and thus achieve precise, space-saving palletising of your rolls, whether eye-to-sky or eye-to-wall.

KOCH RobotApplicationCenter: flexible marking and labelling

The KOCH RobotApplicationCenter is part of the ‘Marking and Labelling’ module. It allows for the fully automatic and flexible marking and labelling of products and combines a label printer, dispenser and robot system with a control unit. In addition to the Big Five modules, their autonomous transport systems (AGVs) offer a flexible intralogistics solution for automatically moving the required pre-material or even finished rolls to the next process step – thanks to the integrated fleet management, the possibilities are virtually endless.

Highlight: KOCHnectivity for sustainable production

A special highlight of their appearance at the trade fair is the presentation of the new KOCHnectivity software. This solution enables sustainable production by monitoring and optimising production systems in real time. KOCHnectivity continuously analyses operating data and provides companies with valuable insights to increase efficiency and sustainability. At ICE Europe, the company’s experts will be on hand to explain the advantages of this software in detail and demonstrate how you can fully exploit the potential of your machines.

KOCH invites all attendees to visit stand 530 in hall 6A. Their experts will be available to present the advantages of their modular and customised solutions.
