Masterpress at FACHPACK – Cost efficiency and recyclability

Masterpress, a European supplier of printed decorative packaging solutions, will showcase the latest trends in packaging for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and present its latest developments at FACHPACK in Nuremberg, Germany, from 23 to 25 September.

Masterpress will showcase its award-winning shrink sleeves and introduce new single-layer PE bags and paper-based bags with barrier properties. All solutions presented are manufactured in accordance with the ‘Design for Recycling’ guidelines defined by pan-European industry associations. Masterpress’s products underscore the company’s growing role in meeting brand owners’ demand for cost-effective and recyclable packaging. Masterpress’ e-commerce division will also present a range of envelopes and paper bags as 100% sustainable solutions tailored to e-commerce. The range includes mailer bags, carry mailers and carrier bags.

Hybrid printing technology and shrink sleeves

“At this year’s FACHPACK, we want to reaffirm our company’s commitment to customers who are increasingly looking for both cost efficiency and sustainability,” says Gabriel Magdaleno, Director of Strategic Product Management & Marketing at Masterpress. “Enabled and supported by our hybrid printing technology, shrink sleeves are strategically positioned to meet these dual customer requirements – while helping brands stand out, convey their identity and highlight essential product information.2

Consistent focus on sustainability and economic viability in a changing environment

Since last year’s FACHPACK, the European label and packaging industry has undergone significant changes – from trade conflicts to new regulations such as the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and the German Ink Ordinance (GIO). Against this backdrop, Masterpress has continued to invest and strengthen its capabilities to deliver solutions that meet the industry’s growing demand for economically efficient and recyclable options.

“We want to show our visitors that sustainability in packaging is not only possible, but also makes economic sense. However, two key factors are required for this: cross-industry collaboration and innovation, supported by a leading R&D infrastructure,” adds Gabriel Magdaleno. “We are convinced that the growing demand for innovative solutions – together with the new regulatory environment in Europe – will provide strategic impetus for closer partnerships within the industry and accelerate the transformation towards sustainable packaging.”

Visitors to FACHPACK will find Masterpress in Hall 5, Stand 5-161, from 23 to 25 September.
