Megapak looks back on a successful participation at K 2025 in Düsseldorf. Together with its partner companies Nordmeccanica and Euromac, megapak presented numerous innovations at the trade fair that impressed the trade audience across the board.
The innovation showroom at the Nordmeccanica stand, where the latest developments were presented live for the first time, was particularly well-attended. Visitors were particularly impressed by the combination of technological precision and practical digitalisation.
Nordmeccanica highlights digital support for machine operators
The highlights presented included:
- aNDRomeda – Nordmeccanica Digital Reality, an AI-based platform for process monitoring,
- The intelligent Coating Weight Management System for precise control of coating and laminating jobs,
- The Nord-Cloud platform, which can be used to evaluate machine parameters in real time or retrospectively and for predictive maintenance concepts.
In addition, the partners presented new modular machine concepts and sustainable packaging solutions aimed at maximum process optimisation, efficiency and resource conservation.
A particular highlight of the trade fair was the sale of a Super Combi 5000 to a renowned German converter – an example of the high demand for flexible, digitally networked systems.
Euromac showcases doctoring and slitting in one system
A new product also attracted attention at the Euromac stand: the TB205, a hybrid machine that combines doctoring and slitting in one system. The model represents the next generation of Euromac technologies in the converting sector. With its compact twin-shaft rewinding system, bidirectional running and the ability to operate as both a doctor rewinder and a slitter rewinder, the TB205 combines versatility with high precision and efficiency.
Thanks to its hybrid design, a wide variety of materials – from monolayers to laminates – can be processed. This makes the machine equally suitable for applications in the packaging, pharmaceutical, electronics and label industries.
The response at K 2025 shows that demand for intelligent, networked and sustainable solutions in the converting sector continues to grow. megapak and its partners see this as confirmation of their strategy of combining cutting-edge technology with technical support and close customer partnerships.
