SÜDPACK welcomes 27 new young professionals

To mark the start of the training programme on 1 September, SÜDPACK is welcoming 27 new apprentices and students. The family-run business is very much looking forward to welcoming its new staff and has organised a varied induction week designed to provide guidance, facilitate personal connections and inspire enthusiasm for their shared future.

Excitement within the company

For 27 young people, a new chapter in their lives begins at SÜDPACK on 1 September. The internationally active family-run business, with strong roots in Upper Swabia, warmly welcomes its new apprentices and students – many of whom are from the region, whilst some have come from countries all over the world. There is great excitement about the new colleagues: for SÜDPACK, young talent is a vital part of the company’s shared future and a strong symbol of diversity, openness and a culture of mutual respect.

To make the transition as smooth and personalised as possible, SÜDPACK has planned a varied programme for the first few days. The new recruits will get to know the training team, the other trainees and their mentors, gain initial insights into the various training areas and have the chance to make contacts straight away. A team-building day at the forest ropes course adds an element of physical activity, interaction and camaraderie to the induction week. Families are also invited to get to know SÜDPACK better during a tour of the premises and to gain an impression of the new working environment.

Journey into working life

“We are very much looking forward to welcoming our new trainees and students to SÜDPACK and supporting them on their journey into working life. The induction week in particular is an important moment for us: it provides guidance, forges initial connections and demonstrates right from the start that training at SÜDPACK takes place within a strong team,” explains the training team.
The range of apprenticeship programmes is wide – from industrial business administration and plastics and rubber technology, through to machine and plant operators and warehouse logistics specialists, right up to electronics technicians and IT specialists. For the first time, SÜDPACK is also training IT specialists specialising in data and process analysis. In doing so, the company is responding to the growing importance of digitalisation, data literacy and automation in industry.

As one of the region’s leading training providers, SÜDPACK offers young people a wide range of prospects in a future-proof sector. The training programme is characterised by modern workplaces, personalised development opportunities, attractive additional benefits and a strong sense of community. The high priority placed on nurturing the company’s own young talent is also reflected in a high retention rate.
