Swedish energy-harvesting company Epishine will showcase solutions for harvesting energy from indoor light at electronica 2026 in Munich. The company’s exhibition will focus on printed solar cells that use ambient light to generate electricity for low-power electronic applications.
Converting ambient light into electrical energy
The indoor solar cells convert available ambient light into electrical energy and are designed to reduce or, in certain applications, eliminate the need for disposable batteries. According to Epishine, the technology can also help reduce maintenance requirements and provide greater design flexibility for electronic products.
Low-power applications
At electronica, the company will demonstrate how the technology can be used in a range of low-power applications, including sensors, smart building technology and remote controls.
Epishine will be exhibiting from 10 to 13 November 2026 in Hall C4, Booth 166 at electronica in Munich.
