Start-ups developing innovative solutions in printed and flexible electronics can now apply for the LOPEC Startup Award 2027. Applications are open until 7 November 2026.
The search for the next generation of innovative companies in printed and flexible electronics is underway: the application phase for the LOPEC Startup Award is now open. The award is aimed at start-ups developing new technologies, products or business models in the field of printed and flexible electronics.
Unique opportunity
The competition provides young companies with an opportunity to present their innovations to an international audience of industry experts, potential customers and investors. A jury will select five nominees, who will be announced in early December 2026.
The nominated start-ups will then have the opportunity to present their innovations at the LOPEC Forum in Munich on 3 March 2027. There, they will face an international panel of experts, potential customers and investors and compete for the LOPEC Startup Award in two categories: “Best Business Case” and “Most Impactful Technology/Product.”
The two category winners will receive a free exhibition booth at LOPEC 2028, including an attractive Startup Exhibitor Package. In addition to the prize itself, the award offers participating start-ups an opportunity to increase their visibility within the international printed electronics community and establish valuable contacts across the industry.
Creativity and diversity
The LOPEC Startup Award has already highlighted a number of promising initiatives in previous editions, reflecting the continued creativity and diversity of the global printed and flexible electronics start-up ecosystem.
