FLEXOO will be exhibiting at electronica 2024, the world’s leading trade fair for electronics, held from 12-15 November at Messe München. This event gathers over 3,000 exhibitors and 70,000 visitors to explore groundbreaking technologies that shape a sustainable and connected world, covering fields from AI-powered automation to electromobility.
At electronica, FLEXOO will showcase its cutting-edge printed electronics solutions, tailored for high-performance automotive, energy, and logistics applications (Hall B3, Stand 416).
Highlights at the booth
- Advanced Pressure & Temperature Sensor Matrix: This ultra-thin, high-resolution matrix captures precise, real-time data, which is ideal for applications where standard sensors can’t reach.
- Battery Monitoring Solution (BaMoS): Leading OEMs use BaMoS to monitor and optimise EV battery cycles, extending battery life by up to 40%.
- Damage Detection Film: An innovative logistics and warehousing solution that pinpoints damaged locations on truck trailers, warehouse walls, or even valuable packages during transit.
- Self-Limiting Heaters for Vehicle Comfort: Translucent, self-limiting heaters integrated into car interiors, developed in collaboration with Marquard. These heaters bring next-level comfort to drivers and passengers.
Moreover, Dr Florian Ullrich, FLEXOO’s Head of Business Development, will speak at the OE-A SmartMobility stage (14 November, 4.45pm): “Customised and Scalable Printed Electronics Solutions for Automotive.”
Rocket award for FLEXOO
On 8 October, FLEXOO won the first Rocket Award at the GründerCampus event at the historic Commissary Heidelberg. The award, hosted by Volksbank Kurpfalz eG, celebrates start-ups that drive innovation and create significant impact within their industries and society. FLEXOO successfully stood out against fierce competition from Heidelberg’s vibrant start-up scene, which featured companies from various sectors. It answered the critical question: “Why does your start-up idea hugely impact our society?”
To apply for this award, participants must submit a video showcasing their vision and the societal impact of their innovative solutions. FLEXOO’s entry highlighted their focus on precision, reliability, and the ability to deliver end-to-end printed electronics solutions tailored to the needs of industries such as automotive and healthcare. Our technology, which includes advanced sensors, antennas, and monitoring systems, provides businesses with real-time, actionable data that fuels efficiency and innovation.
Reflecting on this milestone, FLEXOO’s CEO, Dr Michael Kröger, stated: “This award is an honour for our team and validates the hard work we’ve put into developing solutions that truly make a difference. We are grateful to the jury, our partners, and everyone supporting us.”
