On 17 October, BOBST invited customers, partners and interested parties to an exclusive event for the Italian market at its site in San Giorgio Monferrato.
The motto of the day was “Imballaggi Flessibili 5.0” (Flexible Packaging 5.0). BOBST provided updates on its strategy concerning the Italian “Transition 5.0 Plan,” which supports the transition of production processes to an efficient, sustainable and renewable energy model, with the goal of achieving energy savings of 0.4 million tonnes of oil equivalent in the period 2024-2026.
Guided tours and presentations
The agenda also included presentations on technological innovations such as the NOVALAM S 550, the EXPERTLAM 900 BARRIER, and the LEONARDO pilot coating line. After lunch, the visitors were invited to a tour of the Bobst Italia plant, where they had the opportunity to experience all BOBST solutions for the world of flexible packaging.
