Robatech AG acquires Balti AG

Robatech AG, family-owned provider of adhesive application systems with headquarters in Muri, Switzerland, acquired all shares of balti AG as of 30 September 30 2026.

The Swiss company, which has been in business since 1985 and specialises in custom process solutions for hot melt adhesive application, will continue to operate as an independent company within the Robatech Group and will be known as “balti — part of Robatech” going forward.

Two complementary business models

balti AG, a global company headquartered in Baar, Switzerland, specialises in the development, installation, and support of custom turnkey solutions in all areas of hot melt adhesive application. Robatech offers a strong standard and high-volume business with a global sales and service network. With this acquisition, Robatech is combining these two strengths.

Yves Ottiger, CEO of the Robatech Group, explains: “Over four decades, balti has built up proven engineering expertise that ideally complements our portfolio. With this acquisition, we are opening the door to new applications and market opportunities without losing our focus on our core business. We are delighted to welcome the balti team to the Robatech Group.”

Continuity for customers and employees

No restructuring or job cuts are planned in connection with the acquisition. balti will remain an independently organised entity. The collaboration will be further developed in stages. Existing customer and supplier relationships, as well as ongoing projects, will continue unchanged.

Rebekka Reichmuth from Robatech will assume operational management of balti AG effective immediately. Urs Sachs, former owner and CEO of balti AG, will support the company as a senior advisor during an agreed-upon transition period. It is important to him that his team’s expertise and the long-standing customer relationships are passed on. “In Robatech, we have found a partner that values our work and our customer relationships while also opening up new opportunities for us,” states Sachs.
