Westland strengthens its industrial rollers division

Applications engineer Pascal Valenthin is expanding the technical customer support team, bringing with him around 20 years’ experience in roller technology.

With the appointment of Pascal Valenthin, Westland is strengthening its applications engineering and sales teams within the Industrial Rollers division. With around 20 years’ experience in roller technology, he supports customers in the selection, optimisation and refurbishment of functional rollers and strengthens technical dialogue on an equal footing.

Functional rollers define quality

In many industrial manufacturing processes, functional rollers have a significant influence on the quality, process stability and cost-effectiveness of an application. At the same time, their importance often only becomes apparent when wear, quality deviations or unplanned downtime occur. Sound application-specific advice can help to identify causes at an early stage and develop suitable solutions for the specific application.

Against this background, Pascal Valenthin is strengthening Westland’s Industrial Rollers division in the areas of application engineering and sales. In his new role, he supports customers in the selection, optimisation and refurbishment of functional rolls, as well as in the technical design of new and existing applications.

Pascal Valenthin has around 20 years’ experience in roller technology. His expertise ranges from the entire rubber coating process through to manufacturing and the application-specific assessment of complex challenges. He combines technical understanding with a strong focus on quality and a cost-effective approach to each application.

For customers and partners, this means sound technical advice, reliable project support and a competent point of contact for challenging issues relating to functional rollers. The aim is to jointly develop solutions that are both technically and economically sound and contribute to long-term process reliability.

As a point of contact in the Industrial Rollers division, Pascal Valenthin supports customers in selecting the right solutions for their applications. Westland’s range of services includes, amongst other things, the refurbishment of worn functional rolls with rubber or plastic coatings, the supply of complete rolls ready for installation, and the rapid reconditioning of worn functional surfaces through precision grinding or the adjustment of format surfaces.

By strengthening its application engineering team, Westland is further expanding its technical consultancy expertise within the Industrial Rollers division and offering customers a direct point of contact for the development, optimisation and maintenance of sophisticated roller applications.
