The 14th edition of ICE Europe, the world’s leading exhibition for the conversion of flexible, web-based materials such as paper, film, and foil, successfully concluded a few days ago, reaffirming its position as the premier meeting place for the industry. Over the course of three days, the event brought together thousands of professionals from around the world to explore the latest technological advancements, establish new business relationships, and strengthen industry networks.
With 320 exhibitors from 22 countries covering 22,000 sqm, ICE Europe 2025 delivered a dynamic and bustling environment featuring live machinery demonstrations, high-level discussions, and valuable supplier-buyer meetings. The event welcomed 4,502 trade visitors from 55 countries, with the largest visitor groups coming from Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Spain, the United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Turkey, and France.
Central marketplace for the converting industry
These professionals represented key sectors such as coating and laminating, slitting and rewinding, print technology, test and measurement, finishing, drying and curing, and materials processing, reinforcing ICE Europe’s role as the central marketplace for the converting industry.

ICE Awards 2025: Recognising excellence in industry progress
One of the highlights of this year’s event was the ICE Awards 2025. The ceremony celebrated outstanding achievements and pioneering technologies in the converting industry, with winners determined through a verified online voting process that garnered more than 3,800 votes.
The 2025 award winners are:
- Workflow Connectivity & Automation: INOMETA GmbH (45.3% of the votes) for its innovative automation solutions
- Sustainability: tesa SE (35.4% of the votes) for its cutting-edge eco-friendly converting products
- New Technology: Nicely Machinery Development Co., Ltd (12.2% of the votes) for its breakthrough developments in production efficiency
The ICE Awards continue to celebrate excellence in technological innovation, reinforcing the industry’s drive towards more efficient, sustainable, and advanced converting solutions.
ICE Conference: A new platform for industry insights
For the first time, ICE Europe introduced the ICE Conference, a dedicated forum for knowledge exchange and discussion on emerging trends. Leading industry experts from companies such as HP, Koenig & Bauer, and Fraunhofer IVV shared insights on key topics including digital printing, automation, sustainability, and next-generation packaging solutions. The conference proved to be a valuable addition, complementing the exhibition’s hands-on business environment with deep-dive discussions on the future of converting technology.
Looking ahead to the next show
The success of ICE Europe 2025 has already generated strong interest for the next edition, with many exhibitors confirming their participation early. The next ICE Europe will take place from 9 – 11 March 2027 at the Munich Trade Fair Centre.
