drupa, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for print and media technology, will start on 28 May 2024, after an extraordinary eight-year pause. This trade fair, which lasts 11 days, offers plenty of time and excellent opportunities for the teams of Kampf, Kampf LSF and Atlas to discuss numerous topics in detail.
Kampf, Kampf LSF and Atlas Converting, together with other companies from the Jagenberg Group, will be available to the international trade public at drupa. Kampf and Atlas will be presenting their combined portfolio, including solutions for automatic reel handling, integration of additional equipment such as laser scoring and perforation as well as the possibility for material trials in the European and North American technology centres.
Upgrade in the United States
The Wiehl centre in Germany has already welcomed large numbers of customers over many years. Recently, the new centre in Charlotte, North Carolina, has been extended and is now ready for trials on both duplex, as well as turret slitter rewinder models.
For the Flexible Packaging industry, Kampf and Atlas offer one of the largest product ranges, from inexpensively configured solutions for light investments up to highly automated machines with a high grade of customisation. In all cases, customers receive high-quality, reliable equipment with several thousand machines running worldwide.
Especially for paper and label materials, Kampf will be showcasing the spindle-type Unicon and the station-type Unislit CS. Both machine types offer first-class slitting and winding technology with integrated handling solutions for ergonomic offloading of the finished rolls. Finally, Kampf LSF will showcase their winding solutions and machinery which can also be integrated into turnkey projects.
Complete solution packages
While the focus on machinery equipment has always been relatively strong, additional services are getting more and more important to provide a complete solution package “from one source”.
“Together, we take care,” therefore is the promise that the service specialists from Kampf and Atlas aim to fulfil every day for customers all over the world. Through intensive dialogue with the marketplace, new solutions are constantly being developed to meet customer needs. To name just one example: New standardised upgrade packages, which have been tested and verified, have been individually designed for the machine types and include consultation, delivery, installation and commissioning. At drupa, the joint Lifecycle Service aims to capture visitors’ interest – and it can also be accessed via the my@vanced customer portal.
