Martin Automatic, a leading US manufacturer of unwind and rewind technology, will exhibit a range of its high-performance technology at the upcoming Dscoop Edge in the Indianapolis Convention Center, on 24 – 27 March.
According to Martin’s VP Sales & Marketing, Gavin Rittmeyer, “Our aim is to show converters how to transform their digital web presses into non-stop profit-making centres with our latest automatic splicing unwinds and rewinds.”
MBSC automatic butt splice and LRD rewind
The technology package on show in Indianapolis includes an MBSC automatic butt splice and an LRD rewind. The MBSC is based on Martin’s bestselling MBS but is designed specifically for narrower web applications that typify the digital print market. It features a patented linear sheer splice unit that guarantees a single thickness splice with no overlap and an ergonomic integrated roll loading system.
Alongside the MBSC will be the popular Martin LRD rewind for roll-to-roll production with its industry-leading operator convenience package including single-point core loading, recirculating spindles, and automatic roll doffing.
Enhancing efficiency, productivity and operational excellence
“We are delighted to return to Dscoop Edge after our successful debut in 2023 and look forward to engaging with converters that are keen to enhance their efficiency, productivity, and overall operational excellence. We will demonstrate how this can be achieved with Martin’s 4Es ethos: easy to use, easy to understand, easy to maintain, and easy to integrate,” he concluded.
